Toddler Program
2 years - 3 years old
This is a sensitive time for developing language and exploring the senses.
The first three years of life are critical for developing the potential of a human being. The environment and stimuli parents choose for their toddlers affects their toddler's personhood. Underlying Maria Montessori's method is the philosophy of the dignity of a child. To develop a toddler's unique potential, the peaceful PBMS classroom gives toddlers the freedom to explore, to be creative and to choose.
The toddler program offers very young children a unique environment that encourages self-development in a caring and safe atmosphere of learning, respect, and support. It is unique in that it provides a very specific structure which fulfills the social, physical, emotional, and psychological needs of each child.
We also assist with toilet learning, when parents and teachers agree that the child is ready.
