Volunteers
As a group, PBMS parents have gone far and beyond the call of duty in volunteering for activities at school. As we all appreciate, the greatest learning happens when teachers and parents work together to make for a wonderful caring community. At PBMS, volunteers are our greatest strength. Parents, neighbors, grand parents and friends of PBMS families are always welcome as they contribute significantly to the care and attention we provide to our students. Here are some Volunteer opportunities for you:
- Chaperoning Field Trips
- Creating and planning special events such as Annual Family Night etc.
- Class activities such as cooking/gardening/sewing/reading books/doing laundry
- Assisting with computers/office work/laminating materials
- Helping at the Book Fairs/Flea Markets/Music fest/Spring Fair
- Helping at parent education nights/Monthly Assemblies/Open Houses
- Volunteering for Teacher Appreciation Day
- Helping to raise much needed funds for enhancing the school program
